Cape Town nightlife begins after dark when the discos and bars open in lower Cape Town, the Waterfront, and Sea Point. Although there aren’t a large number of clubs, there is enough variety to keep the locals and visitors happy.

There are beach bars on the Atlantic seaboard including WAFU in Mouille Point. Sit on an unusual wooden deck and watch the sea as you enjoy a cocktail and their specialty, Asian tapas.
The GRAND WEST CASINO has gambling as well as many restaurants bars, cinemas, and other entertainment.
KENNEDY’S CIGAR BAR has a plush interior and specializes in cigars and bourbon.
The OBLIVION WINE BAR is a wine bar added to good food. You can sample wines from Europe, South Africa, and other vintage ones.
CUBANA is a Cuban setting and all types of beer, mixers, and spirits added to good music and night shows.
CAFE VESPA has free entrance, a fireplace, and beautiful views of the bay and mountain.
FICTION and ASSEMBLY are nightclubs that have international as well as local bands and DJs. They are especially fun for the young and those looking for “alternative edge” and “underground” music.
